As a health and development economist, Dr. Ma’s research focuses on developing innovative ways to design and evaluate policies that deliver health goods to low income populations as well as the interactions of health and education initiatives in developing countries. Before joining Peking University, Dr. Ma has been leading a team on the early childhood development and education in Rural Education Action Program, Stanford University.
