In mid-October, board meeting for Emerging Voices for Global Health (EV4GH) was held in Antwerp, Belgium. CCHDS Assistant Professor Dr Jin Xu participated as board member representing Western-Pacific Region along with other board members and representatives of key partner institutions. The meeting discussed the preparation and job division for EV4GH 2018, and decided to establish task groups led by board members. The Board also selected its new chair and co-chairs. The meeting also discussed previous ventures including EV4GH 2016, financing and organization of EV4GH, EV4GH alumni network, the vision and future development of EV4GH and other issues. The board meeting decided preliminary that co-organize the 2018 venture with Institute of Tropical Medicine (Antwerp, Belgium), Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (United Kingdom), Institute of Public Health (Bengaluru, India), University of Western Cape (South Africa), University of Cape Town (South Africa), around the 5th Global Symposium on Health Systems Research (Liverpool).
