Ms. An Appelmansand Mr. Luc Van Leemput, researchers from the department of Public Health (Health Policy and Financing Unit)of the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium, visited CCHDS on March 12th 2012 and discussed with Peking University China Center for Health Development Studies about the joint organization of “2012 Emerging Voicesfor Global Health”around the Second Global Symposium on Health Systems Research to be held in Beijing in November 2012. The “Emerging Voices” activitywill involve encouragement and training of young health professionals with the main objective to have their voices heard at the Global Symposium on Health Systems Research in Beijing organised by WHO's Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research in November 2012.
