CCHDS is leading a preparation of China HiT (China Health Systems in Transition) agreed by MoH and WHO APO (Asia Pacific Observatory). China HiT is to be used by the government and WHO to disseminate China’s health systems development and reforms. Prof Meng is the team leader in this initiative with major writers from Fudan University (Prof Chen Wen), MoH Center for Health Development Research (Prof Yang Hongwei), Shandong University (Dr Sun Qiang), and CCHDS (Dr Liu Xiaoyun). A two-day workshop was organized by CCHDS on April 2-3, 2013, with participation of Dr Dale, the APO Director, and international experts including Dr Viroj Tangcharoensathien and Dr Walaiporn. During the workshop, a meeting between Dr Ren Minghui, Director General of International Cooperation of MoH, and the major workshop participants was organized to discuss how the government can support the preparation of China HiT.
