CCHDS provides technical assistance to health financing reform in Myanmar

With the support from UNICEF in Myanmar, Prof Meng Qingyue went to Myanmar in June and December, 2011, to provide technical advice to health financing reform in this country. MoH Myanmar plans to pilot community-based health insurance in selected areas and would like to learn China’s experiences in implementing rural health insurance scheme. Prof Meng introduced China’s policy and practice in health financing reform in the workshop in June and provided technical assistance in data analysis and design of the scheme in the second visit.
