The Center for Health Interventions and Implementation Science (CHIS) is dedicated to becoming a world-leading institution in health intervention and implementation science. It focuses on the innovative design, implementation, and evaluation of multi-domain health interventions, with particular emphasis on chronic diseases, sensory impairments (hearing and vision), mental disorders, and vaccine-preventable diseases.CHIS has a solid record for competitive grantsapplications,including major project funded by the National Social Science Foundation, the "Science and Technology Innovation 2030" Megaprojects, the projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Open Competition (OC) project from China Medical Board, and the Program of the Beijing Natural Science Foundation. Research findings have been published in high-quality international journals such as BMJ, BMC Medicine, The Lancet Regional Health, Diabetes Care, Journal of Health Economics, and Social Science & Medicine.On going CHIS’sprojectfocuson health interventions in areas such as hearing impairment, eye health, mental disorders, comorbid diabetes and depression, comorbid chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with hypertension and diabetes, and vaccination for patients with chronic diseases. By leveraging evidence from randomized controlled trials,CHISstrives to translate research findings into practice and policy.CHIS will continue to advance interdisciplinary collaborations and strengthen partnerships with leading research institutions both domestically and internationally.Weaim to innovate health intervention models for priority populations and explore their broader applications in diverse global contexts.
