From January 18th to 21st, 2011, researchers from CCHDS, Shangdong University and Karolinska Institute (Sweden) held a seminar on evaluation research of health system reform and international project application at CCHDS.

During the seminar, Ms Li Chunfang, a Deputy Director from National Development and Reform Commission and Ms Xu Ling, a Director from Center of Information and Statistics, Ministry of Health, introduced the progress, monitoring and evaluation of the new round of health system reform in China, and also discussed problems in current monitoring and evaluation. Prof. GoranTomson and Dr. Max Petzold from Karolinska Institute, Prof. Bian Ying and Prof. Wang Jian from Shandong University discussed with researchers from CCHDS about strategies, processes and further agendas for joint application for EU research funding. With the coordination of the Beijing Municipal Health Bureau, the Swedish guests visited health system at suburb Beijing.
