The 2nd CCHDS Health System Research Doctoral Forum of Peking University China Health Development Research Center was successfully held

On December 9, 2024, the second CCHDS Health System Research Doctoral Forum of China Health Development Research Center was successfully held in the conference room on the third floor of Shuhua Building. Later, Dr. Xiaozhen and Dr. Zhang Haijun shared their research results and learning experiences with the teachers and students of the center based on their own research fields. Associate Researcher Ma Xiaochen from Peking University China Health Development Research Center presided over the forum, and nearly 30 teachers and students from the center participated in the doctoral forum.

Later, Dr. Xiaozhen from the Center introduced the exploration and research of China's seasonal influenza vaccination program to the attending teachers and students under the title of "Exploration of China's Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Program: Modeling and Cost Benefit Analysis of the 2011/12-2022/23 Influenza Season". Based on years of influenza season data, a comprehensive analysis was conducted on the vaccination strategy and economy of influenza vaccines. Subsequently, Dr. Lai Xiaozhen shared his experiences during his joint training at the Health Economics Research Centre at the University of Oxford in the UK, including institutional introductions and academic research achievements.

Dr. Zhang Haijun delivered a report

Dr. Zhang Haijun introduced the research background, significance, and policy implications of "Economic Evaluation of Hib Vaccines in China" under the topic of "Economic Research and Policy Impact of Including Hib Vaccines in China's National Immunization Program" to teachers and students, and shared his own experience in researching vaccine economic evaluation. The report provides great inspiration for everyone's research on economic evaluation. In addition, Dr. Zhang Haijun also shared his learning and life experiences during his doctoral joint training at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
